In the first quarter of 2006, MSNBC's Countdown with
Keith Olbermann beat CNN's Paula Zahn Now in the 25-54 demographic. "This marks MSNBC's first quarterly primetime victory over CNN in the demo in almost five years (2Q01 MSNBC Investigates beat CNN at 8 p.m. ET)," MSNBC's press release said today.

**The Associated Press (AP) is taking articles from Raw Story without crediting Raw Story. Aren't journalists supposed to do news gathering on their own?

**Senator Hillary Clinton's Republican challenger, K.T. McFarland, has an interesting background that has been unearthed. From the Wilmington Star: Here are some excerpts from the article---
...McFarland was hit with embarrassing disclosures about her voting history, including her registering in two places and missing several elections. Records suggest she did not even vote in 1984, when Reagan, her boss and political hero, was seeking re-election, though she believes she didn’t miss that one...

...The New York Times reported that she had inflated her resume by overstating her rank in the Pentagon and by claiming to have written Reagan’s Star Wars speech.

There was also the disclosure of an internal memo in which McFarland appeared to distance herself from evangelicals and called herself liberal on social issues like abortion...

** Americablog found at Explore for Truth:
Rep. William Lacy Clay Jr. of Missouri called for the removal of our troops from Iraq. That is not all he said
"President Bush took this country to war by choice, not because we had to fight but because he wanted a fight," Clay said, according to a text of the speech he gave Monday at St. Louis Community College at Meramec in Kirkwood.

"I have a question for President Bush," said Clay, who voted against the resolution authorizing Bush to go to war in Iraq. "If you really believe that the war that you started in Iraq is a fight to defeat terrorism and to defend our freedoms, why haven't your girls enlisted?"

***I hope that Katie Holmes yells and screams when she is in labor. What kind of people would promote a totally quiet birth with no talking or screaming when delivering a baby? Obviously, the 'quiet birth' idea must have been hatched by some men! Someone needs to rescue Katie Holmes and her baby!!!!!
