Tammy Duckworth

*Did you happen to catch the TODAY Show story about Democratic candidate, Tammy Duckworth? Duckworth is an Iraq war vet who is also a double amputee. Despite the fact that the Black Hawk helicopter she was piloting was hit, and despite the fact that both her legs had been blown off, she successfully landed the helicopter to save the crew. Duckworth is a real American hero! She would definitely be an asset to the House of Representatives because her insight and experience could help bring an end to the Iraq War fiasco.

*We saw MAN OF THE YEAR, starring Robin Williams. It is a must see!

*I heard a political pundit refer to Republican Sen. Mike DeWine as Mike DeWHINE. Ha!

*The trial of Republican fundraiser, Tom "Coingate" Noe, continues today. Here is an excerpt from The Toledo Blade:

Tom Noe was deep in debt when he convinced the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation in 1998 to invest $25 million in rare coins, “setting the stage for one of the biggest swindles” ever committed against the state of Ohio, a Lucas County prosecutor said yesterday....

...Noe, 52, faces 44 felony counts related to charges that he took more than $2.2 million from the coin funds he managed for the bureau. He sat attentively yesterday, taking notes just in front of his wife, Bernadette, who sat in the gallery with her attorney, Charles Ticknor III....

Ohio Republicans have ruined our state and given away public money to their friends.
