Taft, Petro, and Montgomery

In today's Columbus Dispatch, http://www.dispatch.com/news-story.php?story=122793 there is more evidence that this Coingate thing just keeps plugging along and getting bigger. Also, this is just my personal question, but is it possible that Petro and Montgomery knew something about all this while this mismanagement was going on? Were they completely out of the loop? Did Taft or some other person within his administration keep Petro and Montgomery updated on the investments and their failures? Jim Petro is the State Attorney General. Wouldn't he need to approve some of these investment contracts? Here is some interesting stuff: Petro and wife socializing with some investment people http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2005/6/1/9715/04098. What about Ohio State Auditor, Betty Montgomery, and her knowledge of the Coingate and other investment losses? Doesn't her job as Auditor mean that she overseees financial transactions and audits reports? For those of you not in Ohio, Betty Montgomery was Attorney General and Jim Petro was the State Auditor until they ran for their present state positions. The Ohio GOP has such a grip on this state they can pick and choose which offices they want!!!! Hopefully, enough has been established about the Ohio GOP corruption that their grip on this state will loosen.
