The Little Secret

Hidden somewhere in some report was a little matter about the real numbers of troops that will be part of President Bush's surge/escalation in Iraq. The American public was told that there would be 20,000 additional sent to Iraq. However, a report from the Congressional Budget Office indicate that as many as 28,000 support troops would be added to the original number of 20,000. CNN has the complete story. Also, with the total number at about 48,000 troops, the costs would be higher than originally announced.

How many lies can we take from this administration? Now more families will have loved ones put in harm's way. While the administration just keeps sending more troops and money to Iraq, Americans will have to pay emotionally and financially for the incredible failures of Bush's war and his administration.
