Plunderbund has uncovered some interesting information on the huge salaries being paid to Kasich staff (much higher than Strickland's staff):
...Strickland’s Communications Director Keith Dailey, for example, currently makes $89,003. While Kasich’s Scott Milburn is getting a bump to $120,000.
Press Secretary Amanda Wurst currently makes $69,992. Rob Nichols will get $90,000.00......
.....Strickland’s Chief of Staff John Haseley makes $122,990/year but Kasich’s incoming Chief of Staff Beth Hansen is going to receive $170,000. This is more money than every cabinet member but 3, more than the Governor and Lieutenant Governor, more than the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Attorney General, Treasurer, Auditor, Speaker and Senate President!.......
Does Kasich still think he is on Wall Street?????

....Gov.-elect John Kasich (KAY'-sik) defended the higher salaries for his chief of staff, communications director, press secretary and others on Thursday after they were made public on the political blog Plunderbund. The figures were released later Thursday to The Associated Press through a public records request.
Kasich plans to pay chief of staff Beth Hansen just over $170,000 a year. That's about $47,000 more a year than Strickland chief of staff John Haseley (HAYZ-lee) has made and about what President Barack Obama plans to pay the new White House chief of staff he named Thursday.
Once again we have an example of the Kasich philosophy, "Do as I say, not as I do." Kasich is willing to funding to counties and cities, eliminate state services, fire state employees, take away collective bargaining for firefighters, police officers & teachers, sell off state assets, raise college tuition, but he'll reward his sheeple staff with our money.
