With the Republican Party in disarray because of continuing announcements of scandals, bribes, corruption, and misuse of public trust, you'd think that their party would gravitate toward moderate normal human beings. No! Those coming forward to take Republican leadership roles are some of the most extreme
*****Arizona Republican Rep. John Shadegg:
(1) (source) Shadegg referred to "Fahrenheit 911" as a "crockumentary." He also said Kerry voters "have mental health problems," adding: "I'll probably get in trouble for that." (You did.)
(2) (source) Despite promises to help fund Interstate 17 and Happy Valley Road in Arizona, Shadegg and Rep. Flake, voted against it.
(Result: People in Arizona are upset because he broke a pledge to his constituents.)
(3) (source) Shadegg wrote a letter to Former Sec. of Interior Gale Norton on behalf of Jack Abramoff's clients.
(4) (source) Shadegg took money from Abramoff's clients and associates.
(5) (source) Shadegg had a questionable grasp of the facts regarding WMD's in Iraq and he tried to smear Scott Ritter.
Nice going Shadegg! Apparently, you are more concerned with repeating your party mantra and collecting campaign contributions than helping the people of Arizona.
