Facts You Should Know

Embattled Republican Rep. Tom DeLay of Texas will resign his office and quit his re-election bid, according to the New York Times. Is this the beginning of the end of the Republican culture of corruption? The culture of corruption will only end if Americans vote out these unethical Republicans.

Speaking of unethical Republicans, the Columbus Dispatch is reporting that Republican candidate for Ohio governor, Kenneth Blackwell, just recently sold his stock in Diebold. Diebold, as you may recall, was the voting machine company that was the center of vote manipulation in Ohio's 2000 and 2004 presidential election. Blackwell was also the chair for the Ohio Bush/Cheney campaign for both of those elections. Doesn't it just make you sick? Read the entire Dispatch article here.
