While President Bush is promising to look into the price of gasoline, we need to be reminded that Bush is a former oil man. Since the year 2000, oil companies gave 75% of their political contributions to members of the Republican Party. Do you honestly believe that Republicans are going to give up their free lunch from these energy companies? Bush can't stop the rising gas prices and even if he could, he wouldn't. His best buddies are getting richer and that is good for the Republicans.

These profits are obscene. We need leadership and real solutions for these energy problems. Bush's half-baked ideas that were written by a speech writer, won't work.
