Republican Goals: Obstruct, Delay, Say "No"

> Why would anyone vote against this bill--- HR 448: The Elder Abuse Victims Act?????
The Library of Congress

Todd Akin, J. Gresham Barrett, Kevin Brady, Paul Broun, John Carter, Michael Conaway, Nathan Deal, Jeff Flake, Virginia Foxx, Trent Franks, Scott Garrett, Jeb Hensarling, Bob Inglis, Steve King, Jack Kingston, John Linder, Cynthia Lummis, Tom McClintock, Randy Neugebauer, Ron Paul, Dana Rohrabacher, Jim Sensenbrenner, John Shadegg, Mac Thornberry, Lynn Westmoreland

What kind of human being votes against a bill that concerns elder abuse? Do these GOPers support elder abuse? Do they care? Are they so caught up in their own lives that they refuse to care about those who are most vulnerable? If you are elderly or have a loved one in a nursing home, it might be good to call these Republicans and tell them how disgusted you are with their vote against this bill.

> Republicans are making up lies about what is in the stimulus package. Guess they want our recession to go into a depression. Recent lies include stories about health care, Nancy Pelosi, and even funding for projects.

> What is it with Republican John Boehner? Does he even know about the job losses in his district? Why is he against anything that doesn't include tax cuts? Is he just a spoiled brat who whines when he doesn't get his way?
