Don't you find it incredible that the Senate Republicans are refusing to help our country get people back to work? What is wrong with the GOP? Do they hate this country? While the Republicans ask for the same old tax cuts that got us into this mess, the country's economy continues in a downward spiral. Now even business leaders, chambers of commerce, and others in the private sector are pushing for approval for the President's economic stimulus package.
Call/email your Senators and tell them to support the President's economic stimulus plan. Start here for names and numbers --- http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm and don't forget to also call local office numbers of your Senators.
If the Republicans still refuse to support this package, their legacy will be even further damaged. After the miserable failures of the last eight years, the Republicans will see their entire party go down the tubes if they refuse to budge. The Republicans will be remembered as obstructionists who refused to help our country and the people when we needed it most.
