The major Republican presidential candidates all support continuing Bush's war in Iraq. They want to let the war go on F-O-R-E-V-E-R. They all support the surge and some of them even would like to add more troop to those fighting in Iraq.
IF (I know the IF is a big one), a Republican is elected president, what will that to Americans?
-According to ICasualties, 3 to 4 Americans are killed every single day in Iraq. With another Republican in the White House who supports continuing the Iraq war, that means that at least an additional 1,095 to 1,460/year would die in Iraq. Over a period of 4 years, it would be approximately 4,000 to over 5,000 more Americans would perish in a Republican war in Iraq. Do we want more Americans to die in Iraq? No. Do any of these Republican candidates even have a strategy for getting out of Iraq? No. I think Americans will reject any candidate who wants to continue to wage war in Iraq.
