1. The more I read about Republican candidate Mike Huckabee's opinions, the more I'm determined to not support this crazy man:
* (Hinessight found this at Ardemgaz)--- After reading this article I wonder if Huckabee knows that we have the separation of church and state in this country. How would he use his religious views if he were elected President? Would he try to quarantine people with AIDS from the general population as he has advocated? Would he pardon/release certain jailed felons if they were convicted of raping/harming relatives of his political enemies? I'm just asking these question because the more we learn about Huckabee, the more inappropriate he appears for elected office.
2. Rudy Giuliani's views and personal behavior were discussed when he appeared on NBC's Meet The Press. Newsday has information about Giuliani's comments:
....any voter watching the hour-long interview by Tim Russert could easily come away with the sense that Giuliani is battling his share of questions about his personal, business and ethical judgment -- so much so that he barely could squeeze in his anti-terror, anti-tax talking points.
Giuliani once again said he wouldn't release a client list or sever his ties with his private consulting firm, citing "confidentiality agreements."
And he defended his company's work with U.S. ally Qatar, which the United States believes helped harbor Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9/11. Giuliani said reports that his company did work for the Qatari minister accused of shielding the terrorist are "just totally wrong."
How can anyone believe Giuliani about anything? He lied to wife and children repeatedly while he carried on an affair with his mistress. He deceived his wife, his children and NYC while he went about the town with his mistress. A man who lies to his wife and breaks the bonds of marriage (repeatedly) is not someone I'd trust as a leader.
