The Good Guys and The Liars

The Good Guys:
* Why not Al Franken for Senate? Al Franken is a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate for Minnesota and he is going up in the polls! The NY Times has a story about his candidacy. While you are at it, visit Al Franken for Senate and contribute to his campaign.
* Democrat Mary Jo Kilroy wants to bring change to Washington. Isn't it time to have someone represent Ohio's 15th congressional district instead of special interest groups, like banks, insurance, and oil companies?

The Liars:
* President Bush and his whole administration should be nominated as the liars of the year. With the pathetic way Bush has lied to this country about Iran and Iraq, it just adds to the stack of lies his administration has provided us. The WMD's in Iraq, the outing of Valerie Plame, the Cheney energy policies, the cover ups about our dead and injured in the wars, the warnings from the President's daily briefings in the months before 9/11 that were ignored by this administration, the lies about the health dangers of Ground Zero for the first responders, etc., etc., etc., have provided us with a history of lies for the last seven years of this administration. How are Americans to believe anything that comes out of this administration?
