Iraq War's Numbers

Every number represents the death of a woman or a man. Every life lost is felt by family, friends, and communities.

There have been 3,904 U.S. deaths in Iraq, according to Icasualties.org, and four missing/captured Americans.

The right wingers who say that it is safer in Iraq than in some American cities are wrong.

The National Priorities Project states that the war in Iraq has cost us over $482 BILLION (as of this moment). Here are some other numbers on the costs of this war from NPP:

  • $275 million per day
  • $4,100 per household
  • Almost 4,000 U.S. soldiers killed and more than 60,000 wounded
  • 700,000 Iraqis killed and 4 million refugees
