An upcoming Vanity Fair article reveals the juicy tidbits. Raw Story has more about the interview. There is even more on Conrad Burns here.

After decades of giving its U.S. salaried employees generous pensions, General Motors Corp. announced a sweeping change in direction Tuesday that will place more of the burden on workers to save for their retirement.

The changes are the latest hit to benefits for GM's 42,000 salaried workers who have already been forced to pay more for health care while losing other perks such as tuition reimbursement....

According to Blue NC, Republican Elizabeth Dole is sending out a very misleading fundraising letter that is disguised to look like a government form. Americablog also has info and an image. If you have relatives in North Carolina, especially elderly, make sure that they don't respond to this scam.
