When Should We Start To Worry????

The bird flu is making the rounds in Europe. How long will it be before it reaches us in the U.S.? Have we had any leadership from this administration as to what to do?

There was a new case of Mad Cow Disease in Alabama. However, despite this new case, this administration plans to cut back on testing. Oh, that makes sense!!!!!?????? Despite complaints from consumer groups, the administration is sticking with their plans. Forbes.com has the details.

Bush wants to have Richard Capka run the Federal Highway Administration. Who is Capka? He is the man who was in charge of the "Big Dig" in Boston. Many people considered Capka as incompetent and controversial. Senator John Kerry hopes to block the nomination. The Houston Chronicle has the story. (The last thing we need is another "Brownie, you're doing a heckuva job" person in charge of highways.)

We are seeing the beginnings of a civil war in Iraq. When will our President have a plan to get us out of Iraq?
