The Correct Words

This just in......
Rush Limbaugh Artificially Inflated with Viagra
CBS:
Rush Limbaugh was detained for more than three hours Monday at Palm Beach International Airport after authorities said they found a bottle of Viagra in his possession without a prescription....

(Liberals don't need Viagra.)

>I just read an article at WCPO about some Ohio candidates for statewide office and I did not like the choice of words in the posting. Here is the paragraph:

She (Brunner) is among a handful of pro-abortion rights Democratic women candidates in the state -- including state Rep. Barbara Sykes of Akron for state auditor and Franklin County Mary Jo Kilroy for congress -- who are being helped by the powerful EMILY's List fundraising network.

Pro-abortion rights????? Pro-choice would have been better. No one is really for abortion. We are pro-choice. It is important to give women a choice and to keep abortion safe, available, and rare. It is astounding to me that some of the media subscribe to the right wing vocabulary list!

I'll sum up the WCPO article this way:

Democratic candidates Jennifer Brunner, Mary Jo Kilroy, and Barbara Sykes are pro-choice and they are backed by the large and powerful EMILY's List.

Doesn't that sound better???

***Note: Barbara Sykes, Democratic candidate for State Auditor, has a great quote:
“We should not have to rely on newspapers to find out Ohio is investing in RARE COINS AND BOTTLES OF WINE. An Auditor should perform the duties of their job thoroughly, regardless of party affiliation.”- Barbara Sykes
