The Rights of Workers in Ohio

Ed Schultz of MSNBC-TV visited Toledo, Ohio, last night, where he was met with a loud, excited, enthusiastic, crowd of people. Ed helped bring the national spotlight to the repeal of SB 5 and the workers who'd lose most if the Kasich/GOP/Koch Brothers legislation passes.  Ed even had an empty chair set up for his invited guest, Gov. Kasich, who did not arrive.  The Toledo Blade has a complete summary of Ed's visit.

Vote NO on Issue 2.

The fact that the Republicans are using the mayor of Toledo as one of their spokesmen, even though he is a former firefighter, illustrates exactly which people would be in charge. Now, as mayor, he is in a position of power. If the Republicans win in November, those in power would be able to have the upper hand over workers, and would be able to deny them the rights they enjoy today.

We cannot allow Kasich, the Ohio GOP, and their corporate supporters to take away the rights of middle class workers.  If they win, we all lose.  Ohio would lose.
