Another Reason to Repeal SB 5

> > >  Dayton Daily News has an article that will surprise no one in Ohio:

The Greater Cleveland Partnership, the Cleveland area’s chamber of commerce, on Tuesday announced its support for the campaign to keep Senate Bill 5, legislation restricting public employee collective bargaining.
Voters will decide the fate of SB 5 in a referendum on Nov. 8...

....The endorsement follows vows of support from the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce. The Dayton group was the first metro chamber in the state to back the campaign for SB 5....

Of course these right wing, wealthy business leaders are against collective bargaining, fair pay, workers bargaining for safety equipment, safe work places, etc.  These fat cats want to sit on their profits, have fun at the country club, and pay less and less for workers.  While the rich get richer, the regular working people of Ohio are losing jobs and rights.  That is exactly what the Koch Brothers, the Chamber, Kasich, and the Republican Party wants.

Think Progress has even more about the members of the Ohio Republican Party who've recently had some mix ups in following the law and common sense:

Ohio’s Republican Party, led by one of the most unpopular governors in the nation, has had plenty of struggles on the policy front in 2011. Gov. John Kasich’s (R) budget is immensely unpopular, and the two other landmark pieces of legislation passed by the GOP and signed by Kasich are subject to referendum campaigns.

But the party’s real trouble so far has been the struggles of some of its members to abide by the law. Three Ohio Republicans have had run-ins with the law this year. State Rep. Robert Mecklenborg (R) was arrested for drunk driving with a stripper in his car. State Rep. Jarrod Martin (R) has had three drunken incidents with law enforcement, including one in which he was driving with his kids in the car. State Sen. Kris Jordan, meanwhile, is being investigated for a domestic dispute with his wife while he was allegedly drunk and in possession of a firearm.....

So much for the "family values" of the Ohio GOP!!!!
