The Dilemma of Owning More Than One Home

It is too bad that John McCain doesn't know exactly how many houses he and his wife own. Some news outlets say it might be 7 homes or as many as 10. Wow. How do they decide where they'll spend the night? I'm sure that the people who have lost their homes through foreclosure feel such empathy for the McCains.

Here are some questions to ponder:
*If you own 7-10 homes, does that make you an elitist?
*Do you think that the McCains have maids and cooks in each of their homes? Do they pay them a prevailing wage?
*If you have homes at different locations and states, do you have automobiles at each of those locations? (Someone needs to ask McCain how many cars they own.)
*At which point do you lose track of exactly how many homes you own--- after 4, or 5, or 6?
*Do you think the McCains have mortgages on all these homes or did they pay for them in cash?

Since McCain did not know exactly how many homes they owned, was he having a 'senior moment'? If McCain were elected president, would he know how many nuclear weapons we had?

(Full disclosure: In case you are interested, my husband and I have one home with a mortgage. We do not employ maids or cooks.)

If you don't know much about McCain's political history, I'd suggest you search Google with the terms "McCain and Keating Five." You'll be surprised.
