Once again it appears that John McCain cannot muster up enough of a crowd for his tired, old, worn out, failed, Bush policies. The McCain campaign said that they will announce his running mate next Friday in Dayton, Ohio.
Dayton is near to Wright Patterson Air Force base and the home to many retired military. However, Dayton has been called a "dying" city by Forbes Magazine. WHIO-TV had this story about Dayton:
....The Forbes list mentions four Ohio cities, including Cleveland, Youngstown, Canton and Dayton.
Forbes said the cities were once the manufacturing backbone of the region, and now they are part of the “rust belt.”....
Isn't it appropriate that McCain with his old ideas is going to a "dying" city on his 72nd birthday to announce his running mate? Ohio, which has an unemployment rate of 7.2%, doesn't need a gas holiday or McCain's lack of knowledge about economics. Ohioans are just tired of the Republicans using our state as part of their road to the White House and then doing nothing to put our people back to work.
