God Bless, President Obama!

My husband and I have been married for 38 years. We've been blessed to have children, grandchildren, dogs, and a great extended family.  I think it is wonderful that President Obama has stated his support for marriage equality.  This is the right thing to do to provide civil rights for everyone.

As a married couple, my husband can visit me in the hospital, can provide power of attorney, and can include me on his health insurance.   Why should same sex couples be denied the advantages that heterosexual couples enjoy?

If people believe that everyone is equal, everyone should have equal rights.  The only people that will stand in the way will be the hatemongers and bigots.
