They've Spoken

The Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters (OAPFF) has endorsed a candidate for the U.S. Senate:

Attention:
Voters in Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District:  Your member of Congress, Republican Rep. Joe Pitts needs to get into the swing of things. The recent reply that Pitts sent to a constituent who expressed concern about the Middle East, is embarrassing and ridiculous.
 Philadelphia Inquirer:

...Replying to a Chester County constituent's e-mail regarding Middle East tensions, Pitts wrote on April 20 that "it is now incumbent on Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasir Arafat" to hunker down at the negotiating table.

Problem is, Arafat died in 2004. And Sharon, no longer Israel's leader, has lain in a coma-like state since a massive stroke in 2006....

According to ThinkProgress, Republican Joe Pitts also sponsored the "Let Women Die" Act in 2011.
ThinkProgress:

House Passes The ‘Let Women Die’ Bill | In a 251 to 170 vote, Republicans led the House to pass the “Protect Life Act” last night, sponsored by veteran anti-choice Rep. Joe Pitts (R-PA). Known by women’s health advocates as the “Let Women Die” bill, the measure allows hospitals that receive federal funds to reject any woman in need of an abortion procedure, even if it is necessary to save her life......

Instead of re-electing the out of touch Pitts, vote for Democrat Aryanna Strader.  She'll stay awake and stay in touch with events in the world.
