Big Happenings in Ohio

Every state has its problems. Here in Ohio, the corrupt GOP controls the offices of the governor, auditor, secretary of state (the infamous Blackwell), and attorney general. The corrupt GOP has managed to 'control' the voting (voting machine contracts to the best GOP contributors, not enough voting machines to heavily Democratic precincts, disqualifying voters, setting up districts to favor the GOP candidates, etc.). Ohioans have a chance to reform our electoral system. How? A coalition of organizations and individuals has banded together to bring common sense to the Ohio electoral system by reducing reliance on big money in campaigns, removing the politicians from the process of drawing their own legislative districts, allowing early voting, and having a bi-partisan board of elections to oversee Ohio elections. There are 4 Amendments to vote on:
****Amendment 1: Redistricting and Reapportionment
****Amendment 2: Reform of Campaign Finance Laws
****Amendment 3: Modern and Equitable Election System
****Amendment 4: Early Voting
You know that these amendments are good reforms because the GOP has tried over and over again to stop them. Fortunately, the courts have upheld the right to put these amendments to a vote. Visit http://www.reformohionow.org/ to learn more and to see how you can help. If you are tired of the political corruption, the 'coingate' scandal, lost jobs, no new job growth, and inept state leadership, you must support these amendments.
