There are no disaster plans!

If Hurricanes Katrina and Rita showed us anything, it is that there are no disaster plans. FEMA has no plans to evacuate a city. Homeland Security has no designs for an emergency response. This country has spent billions of dollars and we have nothing except political appointees in key positions for disaster emergencies. Now the president has asked people to conserve gasoline. However, he continue to travel to the gulf coast for more photo ops. If he really want to save gasoline, he should stay in the White House and get some work done.
