On this morning's Today Show, the president appeared with Matt Lauer at a Habit for Humanity home construction in Louisiana. It was nothing more than a photo op and a lame attempt to improve the president's poll ratings. As I watched, I noticed that the volunteers were not smiling. Did they feel uncomfortable around the president or were they pissed that their work was being held up for this publicity stunt? I also noticed the workers were all white and no minorities were seen on the camera. I wonder if Matt had to submit his questions before the interview.
During this interview, Harriet Miers was referred to as "Judge Miers." Harriet Miers IS NOT a judge and has NEVER been a judge and should not be called "Judge Miers."
