What is next?

This morning on Meet the Press, Sec. of State Rice said a few things that really made me question what is going on in this White House. She had some nonsensical answer to questions regarding the possible failure of the vote for the Iraqi constitution. She said something like, if the vote wins it is a success, if the vote fails it is a success. I think that this administration has lowered the bar for success in Iraq because it will not admit to mistakes or create a time frame for withdrawal of our troops. Meanwhile, while this administration tries to cover their asses, more of our young men and women are being killed in Iraq.

Rice also gave me a creepy feeling when she started putting the blame on the insurgency on Syria. I hope to God that there are no plans to invade any other countries.

When Russert asked Rice about the recent poll that shows only 2% of African-Americans support the president, her answer was ridiculous. She said this president has done more for African-Americans than any other previous president. Whoa! Really? Really???

Over at Raw Story http://www.rawstory.com/ there are several stories about Judith Miller of the New York Times. Basically, Miller went to jail for 85 days and now she can't remember who was the source of the CIA leak. She went to jail and she can't remember why. Who is she protecting?
