In yesterday's news conference, the president pretty much said 'trust me' on the nomination of Harriet Miers to the SCOTUS. Didn't he ask us to trust him about WMD's in Iraq? Didn't ask us to trust him on the war on terror? Didn't he ask us to trust him about job creation and the economy? Didn't he ask us to trust him about FEMA being part of Homeland Security? Didn't he ask us to trust him about his ability to lead this country? People trusted him before and people were let down. The record shows that we cannot trust the president and Karl Rove on this Miers nomination.
