I could've told you if you asked!

I could've told you if you asked about the president's poll ratings. The article was in Newsday http://www.newsday.com/news/local/wire/newyork/ny-bc-ny--bush-newyork1005oct05,0,1440881,print.story?coll=ny-region-apnewyork and I found it at Raw Story. http://www.rawstory.com

"President Bush's job approval rating has hit an all-time low in New York with just 29 percent of New York voters giving him favorable marks, a statewide poll reported Wednesday...

"Another statewide poll out last week from Marist College's Institute for Public Opinion also pegged Bush's job approval rating at a new low _ 33 percent _ among New York voters.

"Bush's approval rating among New York Republicans was at 61 percent in the new Quinnipiac poll while it was at 9 percent with Democrats."

Now the republicans want to severely cut food help for the poor. The republicans are heartless, corrupt, self-promoting pigs. Shame on them! Scandal after scandal has plagued members of their party and now they want to slash food programs for the poor? You'd think that because so many of their party members have been in trouble that they'd try to get in the good graces of the American public. Folks, I think we've just seen the GOP shoot themselves in the foot. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051005/ap_on_go_co/food_farm_programs_1
