EPA

Here something to confirm your beliefs that this administration is a little too cozy with business. http://www.dispatch.com/news-story.php?story=dispatch/2005/10/02/20051002-D1-01.html

'Hundreds of businesses wouldn’t have to report millions of pounds of toxic chemicals that they release into Ohio’s air, land and water under a federal EPA proposal.
'The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency also wants to let chemical plants, power companies and other businesses cut back on when they report the toxic chemicals they release.
'Currently, companies have to tell the government every year. The EPA wants to extend that to every two years.
'EPA officials said both moves would save time and money that could be better spent tracking pollution trends across the country...
'Environmental advocates described the proposals as an attack on one of the public’s best tools to track and reduce pollution.'

This just makes no sense at all. Can you imagine what toxins will be released without the public being told at all? Incredible. This administration is creating one catastrophe after another.
